Description
Pilates is a gentle, comprehensive muscle-strengthening method based on movement control, breathing, stability, precision and fluidity. Derived from functional rehabilitation, it aims to strengthen deep muscles, improve posture, promote joint mobility and develop body awareness.
Trained in the Pilates method and with a diploma in physiotherapy, I offer mat classes for individuals or small groups. My approach is based on a thorough understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and functional limitations, enabling me to adapt each exercise to your condition, correct your movements in real time and guarantee a safe, effective and progressive practice.
Pilates is for anyone wishing to improve their posture, relieve chronic pain (particularly lower back pain), or gently resume physical activity. It is particularly recommended for musculoskeletal disorders, functional rehabilitation, and for pregnant or post-partum women, to build or restore solid foundations and prevent injury. Accessible to all levels, it is suitable for all ages.
Each session begins with a discussion to assess your current abilities, any pain you're experiencing and your goals. This assessment enables us to build a targeted, individualized and safe session. Throughout the session, I provide attentive supervision, correcting your postures, adjusting the exercises according to your needs, and focusing on the quality of movement, breathing and body control.
Sessions take place on an individual or small-group basis, to enable personalized follow-up, controlled progress and real in-depth work.
