Pelviperineology for women

Pelvic rehabilitation (or pelviperineology) is aimed at people suffering from pelvic floor disorders. It can be used to treat incontinence, organ descent, pelvic pain or post-partum problems, using targeted, progressive and respectful techniques.

Rehabilitation
“A toned, well-balanced perineum contributes to daily comfort, the prevention of functional disorders and overall body function.”

Description

Pelvic rehabilitation covers all functional disorders of the lower pelvis, in relation to the perineum, deep muscles, posture and breathing. It is indicated in cases of incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), post-operative urinary problems, post-partum problems, but also in preparation for childbirth to prevent possible complications and make labor more comfortable.

After a detailed and confidential assessment, a personalised program is drawn up. The techniques used include biofeedback, breathing exercises, deep sheathing and posture. The aim is to strengthen and rebalance the lumbo-abdomino-pelvic area, to improve function, posture and comfort in everyday life.

Each session takes place in a safe, respectful environment, with a focus on listening to the body, honoring personal experiences, and supporting each individual's goals. Practical advice is given throughout the treatment to help adapt daily activities, improve lifestyle habits and encourage autonomy.
